Suela Bala has 13 years of combined technical expertise in education and management experience in the public and international nonprofit sector including program design and delivery, strategic planning, advocacy, research, business and partnership development, donor stewardship, policy analysis and human resources development. In 2013 she joined the senior management team at Save the Children International in Albania in the position of Manager for Program Development and Quality responsible for strategic development and fundraising. Her former professional experience includes working as Manager of Operations at Save the Children International in Albania overseeing an annual portfolio of approximately 1,5 million dollars, specialist of in-service teacher training of ICT and Vocational Education at Regional Education Directorate of Tirana, part-time thesis adviser on education policy at Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Council” in Tirana. She holds an integrated B.A and MSc degree in Physics and Secondary Science and Mathematics Education from Middle East Technical University in Ankara Turkey. Suela is fluent in English, Turkish, Italian and French. She joined the AADF in Jan 2016.
