Elona Xhaferri
Project Manager for Education
Elona Xhaferri has 10 years of experience of project and program management in international public and private sector in education, development and human rights. Her expertise in education extends from K12 education to tertiary education, with focus on teaching with technology, teacher education and training, curricula and skills, Bologna process, quality assurance, qualifications frameworks and ECTS. She is fellowship holder of European Commission Erasmus Mundus Higher Education program (2007 – 2009) where she completed Master of Arts in Development Studies in Governance and Democracy, at the International Institute of Social Studies in Hague, Netherlands and Master of Arts in Public Policy at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Her former experience includes Microsoft Albania as Academic Program Manager, Education, Audio-visual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels, Directorate-General on Education and Culture in European Commission overseeing several aspects of higher education reforms in Western Balkans. She worked for 3 years as consultant for Council of Europe in Albania, Center for Education Policy in Belgrade, International Land Coalition in Rome and Soros Foundation in Albania. She joined AADF in May 2016.
