The AADF Chairman, Michael Granoff in the presence of the Ambassador Victoria Nuland, AADF Board and Co-CEOs Martin Mata and Aleksander Sarapuli, formally handed over to the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti the final draft of the Integrated Management Plan for Butrint National Park. The first of its kind, following the adoption of the new Law on Cultural Heritage, this document brings a new management model for Butrint and other heritage sites in Albania. The project was funded by AADF with a value of $ 250,000, while the Plan was designed by the British company Prince + Pearce in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and other public and private partners. In reference to the new law on cultural heritage in the country, the final draft will be subject to public hearing before approval by the Council of Ministers.
