Public Presentation of the Draft Concept Design of the Pyramid and the Center for Creative Technologies TUMO

In the frame of AADF’s project “Enhancing digital literacy of youth in Albania”, on May 16th, was presented the Draft Concept Design of the Pyramid and the Center for Creative Technologies TUMO, in the premises of the Pyramid of Tirana. The invitees were the Chairman of AADF, Mr. Michael Granoff and Co-CEOs Mr. Martin Mata and Mr. Aleksandër Sarapuli, the Mayor of Tirana Mr. Erion Veliaj, the Prime Minister of Albania Mr. Edi Rama, representatives from the architectural firm MVRDV Mr. Ronald Hogeveen and the CEO of TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies Mr. Pegor Papazian.

AADF’s financial contribution aims to bring sustainable models in education and technology and has proposed TUMO Center to be housed in the premises of Pyramid of Tirana. The Center intertwines the most up to date technological concepts adopted creatively and independently encouraging self-paced learning. The center will increase the competitiveness among youth and employability prospect in fields which make global trend of technological development. TUMO is an afterschool learning environment for teens aged 12 – 18 years old, courses in the fields of animation, web design, film making and game development. The skills teens acquire through the curricula will enable them to create their own portfolio of 21st century skills in 2D Graphics, 3D Modeling, Computer Programing, Music, Drawing, Writing, New Media, Photography, Robotics and Motion Graphics.

The next TUMO Centers will be opened in Paris and Moscow in September 2018.
