Ilir Parangoni has over 15 years of experience in cultural heritage and tourism in Albania. He is a graduate of the University of Tirana, Faculty of History. He holds Master in Archaeology from the University of Tirana, degree in conservation and management of archaeological sites from the University of Bologna and holds a Doctoral Degree in Archaeology from the Academy for Albanian Studies, Tirana. Ilir has extensive experience in working with local communities and development projects in the sector. He has participated in many intensive training programs on tourism, eco destinations, leadership, and more. Ilir is a member of the International Committee for the Conservation of The Industrial Heritage (TICCIH), International Council of Museums (ICOM), South East European Heritage (SEE Network), and a fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar. Ilir joined the AADF team in April 2017.
