Crimson Finance Fund Albania

The AADF in partnership with Norfund, Crimson Capital Corp and the Municipality of Tirana, established Crimson Finance Fund Albania, a non-banking financial institution which will provide developmental financing for micro, small and medium-sized businesses. CFF Albania is designed to improve access to finance for under-served small and medium enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, innovators, women-owned businesses and farmers in Albania in order to catalyze business growth and job creation.

    CFFA starts financing SMEs

    Crimson Finance Fund Albania (CFFA) started financing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during February by performing the first financing in the form of financial leases. Products of CFFA will help SMEs with limited financial access to banking system by: increasing business liquidity, funding the purchase of equipment, machinery or assets for the business needs and by funding preliminary development costs.

    Crimson Finance Fund Albania Launching Event

    The AADF, Municipality of Tirana, Crimson Capital and Norfund launched Crimson Finance Fund Albania (CFFA), a non-banking, financial institution. CFFA is a revolving fund which will focus on providing financing to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that are not being served by other financial institutions. The AADF has committed $1.25 million to the project and the other partners have committed an additional $2.15 million. The mission of CFFA is to bring economic growth and employment to Albania by financing underserved businesses.

    Crimson establishes a new non-banking institution for SMEs

    The AADF, Municipality of Tirana, Norfund and Crimson Capital Corp signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish Crimson Finance Fund Albania, a non-bank financial institution. The MoU was signed by AADF Chairman of the Board Mr. Michael Granoff, Tirana Mayor, Mr. Lulzim Basha and Mr. Michael Gold from Crimson Capital.
