On October 4, 2019, the Integrated Management Plan of Butrint National Park (2020-2030) was presented at the Butrint Archaeological Museum.
Present in the meeting were the Minister of Culture Ms. Elva Margariti, official representatives of the local government of the areas around Butrint, residents, local NGOs, and other interested parties.
A presentation was given to the participants about the benefits that the local community will have during the implementation of the Integrated Management Plan and how the investments will affect the employment of the local inhabitants.
Local stakeholders such as residents, artisans, boatmen, fishermen, and farmers contributed through valuable suggestions to further enrich the plan according to their points of interest.
