The vision of the Management Plan is formulated in the perspective of the next fifteen years in the preservation and development of the cultural heritage of the city:
“The legacy of over 3000 years of continuous settlement is preserved, accessible to all, and highlighted with all its values while maintaining the balance between heritage protection, tourism, and development.”
The Management Plan was prepared by the Italian company ARS Progetti and funded by the AADF as a contribution to the city’s reconstruction efforts following the 2019 earthquake.
