Valbona Shyti

Valbona Shyti has 14 years of experience in professional advisory services to major companies operating in Banking, Insurance, and Financial Institutions, Foreign Investment Funds and Foundations and many more in Albania, Kosova and Romania. She is a graduate of Tirana University, Faculty of Economics, Finance & Accounting Department; specialized in banking. She is a fellow member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) since 2010 and a Chartered Certified Accountant in Albania from 2011. Valbona is specialized in Financial Services industry, and has extensive working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP, local accounting standards and local legislation. She has been Coordinator of the FSI industry in one of the Big4 in Albania and leader of IFRS products including IFRS trainings, compilations of financial statements, financial reporting and IFRS implementations/transitions. In addition, she has contributed as part-time lecturer of Managerial Accounting in one of the top Universities in Tirana and lecturer of accounting and finance topics at The Institute of Authorized Chartered Auditors of Albania. She joined the AADF in Nov 2016.
